Pelikan M200 Fountain Pen Review

The Pelikan M200 fountain pen is a lovely starter pen from one of the leading manufacturers of fountain pens in the world-Pelikan.


I have two Pelikan M200s myself and although one needs it’s nib replaced because it has got pretty worn and scratchy I still love the elegance and timelessness of this fountain pen.

Pelikan Tradition Series 200

The Pelikan tradition series 200 is a high quality, well crafted pen notwithstanding the competitive price(around $100 normally but you can get one on Amazon for 20% less at $87.95 through this link).
This particular model has a medium point but you can also get fine, medium and broad nibs. Features of this pen include
• The see through ink reservoir which ensures you should never run out
• Stainless steel nib (which is gold plated) and a choice of fine, broad or medium
• Plunger ink filling mechanism
• Gold plated fittings and Pelikan clip
• Barrel and cap made from black acrylic resin
